Mark Poloncarz, the President of the New Democrats of WNY, has over 15 years experience working on local, state and federal campaigns. He brings a unique perspective to campaigning having run one of the largest efforts in recent years as the 2004 WNY Coordinator for the John Kerry for President campaign and in having won his own race for Erie County Comptroller in 2005, the first time a democrat has held that seat since 1974. Mark was reelected in 2009, and was one of only two Democratic countywide candidates to be reelected across all of NYS during a tough year for incumbents.

Mark was an at-large delegate to the 2008 Democratic Convention in Denver for the 27th Congressional District. Mark was also a delegate from the 27th Congressional District at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, and was appointed floor whip for the New York delegation. Additionally, Mark was a surrogate for the 1996 Bill Clinton for President campaign in Toledo, Ohio, volunteer WNY communications director for the 2000 Bill Bradley for President campaign, and has worked for and advised a host of other candidates on the state and local level. Mark is also a member of the Erie County Democratic Committee's Executive Committee.

Gail Wojtowicz is the Secretary of the New Democrats of WNY and chairs its endorsement committee. Gail is no stranger to democratic politics. Since 1992 she has been a member of the Town of Lancaster's Democratic Committee, a zone chair and its secretary since 2000. Gail was chair of the Stonewall Democrats of WNY in 2006, and its secretary from 2001 - 2005. In 2004, Gail was an alternate delegate in the 26th Congressional District for Joe Lieberman. Gail has worked on many local, state and federal races, and is pleased to have played a role in the following campaigns: 1992 and 1996 Bill Clinton for President, 2000 Al Gore for President, 2000 and 2006 Hillary Clinton for Senate and 2004 John Kerry for President. Gail obtained her BA in French and Spanish from the University at Buffalo and attended Laval University in Quebec, and is also a member of the Erie County Democratic Committee's Executive Committee.

Mike Szukala is the Treasurer of the New Democrats of WNY. Mike has over a decade of experience working on local, state and federal campaigns. Presently a zone chair in the Town of Amherst, Mike is an accountant with a Masters in Business Administration and is noted for his statistical research.

Linda Berman is the Secretary of the New Democrats of WNY. Linda has worked on many local, state and federal campaigns and is a Democratic Committeewoman and zone chair in the Town of Amherst.
